Exciting events and shows in Lincolnshire
Every year there are lots of exciting events in Lincolnshire and near by in Nottinghamshire that attract visitors from all over the world.
Shows and Events
Every June there is the Lincolnshire Show which has lots of fun and exciting things going on. With local foods, crafts, livestock and agricultural exhibits. Our accommodation is great for those coming to visit the show or for those exhibiting at the show.
In December there is the famous Christmas Market held in the historic Cathedral Quarter of the city which is a wonderful experience not to be missed and an excellent way to get into the Christmas spirit.
The Newark and Nottinghamshire County Show Takes place every May at the Newark Show Ground just a 15minute drive from our accommodation here at Fen Farm. The ever growing LAMMA agricultural machinery trade show also takes place at the Newark Show ground every year in April and draws visitors from all across the UK.
Throughout the year there are lots of smaller events being held with regular farmers markets in Lincoln, Race days at Market Rasen Race Course, open days at the counties wonderful old houses and attractions and fun family events in Lincoln Castle and much, much more
Music and Theatre
During your stay in Lincoln the newly renovated Theatre Royal is well worth a visit. It has an excellent programme throughout the year with comedies, ballets, musicals, pantomimes, entertainments for and much more for all the family.For Live music in Lincoln your can't beat The Engine Shed, Lincoln's trendy music venue that gets all the best names.|
